French pyrogène featuring a vibrant cobalt-blue ceramic base adorned with colorful floral enamel detailing in shades of turquoise, green, ivory, and soft pink. A wonderfully textured metal striker sits above the decorative base, creating a lovely contrast between the rustic and refined. Traditionally used to hold and strike matches, this petite piece makes a charming decorative accent styled alongside antique books, candlesticks, or other collected treasures. Age-related wear and patina throughout, with a tiny, discreet chip to the textured striking surface. The decorative floral base presents beautifully.
